The CQL Search app allows you to use structured queries to search for content in Confluence using the Confluence Query Language (CQL). The macro consists of two parts: a macro to embed CQL search results on a page and an interface that displays CQL search results.
CQL Search macro
If you have a search that you want to execute again and again, or if you want to display search results to other users, use the CQL Search macro to embed the search results on a page.
Access the macro by typing the following in the editor.
cql
The macro editor is shown below. Specify the CQL query string, the number of results per page, and the data columns to show in the search results grid.
Search results are shown below for pages and attachments in the FPBS space that were modified in the previous two months. The results are sorted by the last modified date.
CQL Search interface
To access the CQL Search interface, navigate to any page and click the Extra Tools menu (•••) and click the "CQL Search" item.
You will be presented with the Interface shown below. Specify the CQL query string, the number of results per page, and the data columns to show in the search results grid. Your options will be saved (in the browser) and will be available the next time you come back to the search page.
Search results are shown below for pages and attachments in the FPBS space that were modified in the previous two months. The results are sorted by the last modified date.
